Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, for the same purposes described below.

2. What cookies we use, and why

Strictly necessary cookies are required for Folo, or certain features of it, to work properly (for example, staying signed in, remembering your cookie choice, and basic security). You cannot opt out of these while continuing to use Folo.

Performance cookies help us understand how Folo is used so we can improve it, without identifying you individually.

Functionality cookies remember your preferences, such as display settings, to give you a more personalised experience.

Targeting cookies, used only where you consent, are set by advertising partners to measure and deliver relevant advertising.

3. Your choice is asked, remembered, and shared across our products

Folo shows a cookie-consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set, and keeps your choice until you change it. Google Analytics and similar non-essential tools stay off until you accept.

If you are signed in, your consent choice is stored against your account (not just this device) and honoured across Folo, Fanogram and Receipt, so you are not asked again on each product separately; see our Privacy Policy, Section 8.

You can review or change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer, or by visiting this page if you have JavaScript disabled.

4. How long cookies are stored

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period (typically up to 12 months) or until you delete them, whichever is sooner.

5. How to control or delete cookies and tracking technologies

You can control cookies through the banner and the "Cookie settings" link described above, and separately through your browser's own settings, which let you block or delete cookies generally. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of Folo working correctly.
