Refund & Billing Terms

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. What this covers

These Refund & Billing Terms apply to purchases on Folo: subscriptions, pay-per-view unlocks, tips and paid messages. They form part of our Terms of Service. Current prices and fees are shown to you before you pay and on your receipt; they are never stated on this page. See our pricing in the product for current figures.

2. Subscriptions and cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time, which stops future billing for that subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for; cancelling does not retroactively refund the current period.

3. Refunds

Purchases are generally final and non-refundable once content has been delivered. We will refund a purchase where a creator fails to deliver as promised, for example, by removing their account early, withholding substantial paid content, or materially misrepresenting what was being sold. Balances funded through a digital wallet are not refundable once spent.

4. The 14-day digital-content cancellation right

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU/EEA, you ordinarily have a 14-day statutory right to cancel certain purchases. Because paid content on Folo is digital content delivered immediately, completing a purchase means you expressly ask us to begin delivery before the 14-day period ends and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once delivery has started, consistent with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the equivalent EU consumer-rights rules. This does not affect your right to a refund under Section 3 where a creator fails to deliver as promised.

5. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer or payment provider (a chargeback) instead of contacting us first, we treat this as a serious matter: it can result in suspension or permanent loss of access to Folo, and a creator's account may be charged an administrative fee for a chargeback on their earnings; see current fees in the product, never on this page. Making a chargeback or refund request in bad faith can itself lead to account suspension or termination.

6. Creator earnings, fees and payouts

Fees Folo charges creators, such as a platform or payment-processing fee netted from a transaction, are shown to creators in the product and are never stated on this page; see our pricing. Payout cadence, minimums and any identity-verification gates on your first payout are set out in the product and in our Terms of Service.

7. Contact and disputes

Billing questions: support@folo.co. Contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer wherever possible, so we can resolve it directly.
