Community Guidelines

1. The short version
Everyone here is an adult (18+), no exceptions. Consent is everything: don't post, send or generate intimate content of a real person without their knowing, informed consent to both creating it and sharing it; the only likeness you can freely use is your own. Keep public, signed-out surfaces safe-for-work; adult content lives behind the paywall and age check only. Be decent to people: no harassment, threats, doxxing or hate. Don't break the law or the safety rules: sexualising a minor is an instant ban and a report to the authorities. Play fair commercially: no scams, chargeback fraud, fake engagement, stolen content or leaking paid material.
2. Content you have the rights to
Only upload content you own or have a valid licence to use. Don't post someone else's photos, video, music or paid content from another platform or creator without their permission.
3. The SFW/NSFW boundary
Folo's public, signed-out, discovery and marketing surfaces are safe-for-work only. Adult content can be created only by creators who have completed full identity and age verification, and can be viewed only by fans who have passed age assurance. Don't route around this by mislabelling explicit content, smuggling it through chat, or placing an off-platform explicit link on a public surface.
4. Consent and likeness, especially for AI
Consent to create is not consent to share: for any intimate depiction of a real person you need their knowing, informed consent to both, every time. The only likeness you may freely use is your own, as a verified creator; you may depict another real person only with their verified, documented consent, for AI-generated and ordinary content alike, SFW and NSFW alike. Never post or sell someone's private intimate images without consent, threaten to share intimate content, make sexual deepfakes of a non-consenting person, or use AI to impersonate someone to deceive, defame or defraud.
5. Hate speech, harassment and private information
Any form of harassment, hate speech or discrimination based on a protected characteristic is strictly prohibited and removed without exception. Don't stalk, threaten, extort, or run a coordinated pile-on against anyone. Don't publish someone else's private or identifying information (real name, address, workplace, phone number) without their consent; doing so results in account removal.
6. Terrorism, extremism and unlawful activity
Material that glorifies or recruits for terrorist or violent-extremist activity results in permanent account removal. Folo may not be used for unlawful activity, including trafficking, exploitation, unauthorised access to systems, or promoting illegal drugs or weapons.
7. Non-consensual and unsolicited sexual material
Content involving unwilling participants, and unsolicited intimate material sent to another user who has not asked for it, are both prohibited. If an intimate image of you, or someone you are authorised to act for, appears on Folo without consent, report it; we prioritise these reports with a 48-hour review and removal target.
8. AI-generated content
Synthetic media must be clearly disclosed as AI-generated, must pass the same moderation review as any other content, must never depict a minor, and must otherwise comply with every rule in these Guidelines and the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Explicit content marking and impersonation
Sexual or otherwise mature material must be marked as 18+ content and kept off public surfaces. Misleading impersonation of a real person is prohibited; clearly labelled parody is permitted.
10. How these Guidelines fit with our other rules
These Community Guidelines are a plain-language companion to, and are governed by, our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
